Is your baby ready for solid foods?

Most babies are ready for solid foods at around six to eight months. However, the time to introduce finger foods varies from one baby to another. Fruity finger foods like cherries, watermelon and strawberries are good and healthy food choices for your baby.

Give your baby foods that are soft, easily mashed and appropriate for her age. Let her explore and experience a variety of food textures and colors to touch, smell, and taste.

Cherries

The oh-so-delicious cherries pack a lot of important nutrients for your baby. Cherries are a good source of fiber, Vitamin C, and calcium.
