When's the right time to get her ears pierced?

Is your daughter ready to get her ears pierced? Should you wait until she is older or do want to adorn her with cute earrings as an infant?

Choosing the right time to get our daughters' ears pierced is a matter of great debate. Many moms choose to wait until she is mature enough to consciously understand the temporary pain that comes with the act. Other moms get it done when she is an infant so they have greater control over the pierced site.

Whatever decision you make, remember that it's vitally important to take proper care of her. Ear piercings can easily become infected without proper care and attention to hygiene, so guard against infection by cleaning the piercing carefully with mild disinfectants several times a day.

The most important thing to remember is that you should always consult your pediatrician before getting her ears pierced.

Clip your daughter's hair away from her ears to show off that adorable first pair of earrings. Adorn her with super comfortable headbands from No Slippy Hair Clippy. Here are two of the most loved headbands from our collection:

Lindsey Headband
The  Lindsey Headband comes with a 2" Pink Five Petal Lindsey Flower with Sequins on Pink Organdy Headband.

Daisy Headband

Hold hair away from your little girl's eyes and ears with Hair Clippy's Daisy Headband. This fabulous headband comes with a white daisy flower with yellow center embedded on a soft white lace headband, perfect for a prim and proper look.

The joy of having that first pair of earrings is fantastic, and it's just another way to celebrate your daughter's femininity and growing up.
